Welcome to Women4Virtue! We are a group of 9 ladies from around the country who have a passion for Jesus Christ. We are studying the book titled "When a Women Trusts God" written by Sheila Walsh. We hope to to draw closer to God and each other by exploring God's plan for our lives.
I was at 5 colleges in like 3 1/2 years and several new places in between. I have started over a lot since high school! Each time God grew me in new ways. I think each place began with positives (because of the excitement), then hit me with the reality of fear and loneliness, which seemed negative. Now looking back I can end those experiences with positive emotions. I can see now that I took many different paths and God went right along with me directing me back to where He wanted me. Somehow I ended up here!
ReplyDeleteHoly moly... I feel like I could write a book on this. Refering back to question #2 and having to "un-know" I've found that the way I've done things isn't necesarily the best way. I guess what comes to mind first, as silly as this sounds, is having to start over when I'm cooking. I get ahead of myself and don't read the directions and sometimes the ingredients DON'T all go in at the same time! I get so incredibly frustrated because most of the time it's not the first time I've made the same mistake. When do I learn?! How many gross brownies does it take? There is no better time to reflect and think about it more than when you're driving back to the store to get more of whatever you used too much or little of and I find that what it comes down to is stepping back and taking my time and in so many ways, maybe not baking brownies, but I find the best solution is to let go and let God.
