Question 2

I feel like most peoples’ entire existence is trying to find somewhere to belong. This seemed to be the core of this chapter. Have you experienced (or are experiencing) this longing? If you have experienced this how did you find your place and where was it?

  1. i think for a long time i thought a place to belong was in a physical location or person, but i'm beginning to let go of that and realize that hte only place to truly belong is in true submission to God and his will for my life. the people and places will always change, but that one thing remains constant.

  2. I think that for a while I struggled with my decision to major in design. I felt that in order to help God and do his will...I needed a profession that directly impacted peoples' lives for Jesus (i.e. teacher, nurse, etc.). Through the help of my mom (and I'm sure God), I discovered that my life wasn't labeled by my profession. I discovered that I belonged in a place where I was happy...and God would use me wherever I was with whatever I was doing.

  3. Good points. I think I always struggled with fitting in and finding my place. But becoming a member of God's church is the most wonderful, safe and loving place I could be.
