Welcome to Women4Virtue! We are a group of 9 ladies from around the country who have a passion for Jesus Christ. We are studying the book titled "When a Women Trusts God" written by Sheila Walsh. We hope to to draw closer to God and each other by exploring God's plan for our lives.
Hooray! I am ordering the book today - and maybe writing a little blurb. I'll see what time allows. Thanks again Tori for setting this up - I think it will be awesome to connect with women of faith!
ReplyDeleteHello friends. My name is Amy Howard and I live in Columbus, OH. I am a 1st/2nd grade teacher of 18 lively students. I live here with my husband and I am with child, my husbands child. :) It is a girl and I am due June 22nd. Yahoo! I know Tori because we went to Union together and we lived together for one LONG year. ;) Just kidding, she is great! :) Really looking forward to doing this blog. I have never done anything like it and I believe it will be a great blessing! Looking forward to communicating with you all.
ReplyDeleteI am currently a High School Math Teacher in Colorado. I have been married for almost 8 months to the best man in the entire world. We expanded our family about five months ago with our little black lab Lily (hehe). I love to go hiking (especially with Lily)and Colorado is one of the best places for that. Just recently my very talented hubby tried to teach me to snowboard. Even though I am sore, I enjoyed it and hope to go again soon. I am very excited to get together with some women of faith and talk about God. I think this will be an amazing experience.
ReplyDeleteHey! My name is Monica Wold. I am technically a graduated psychology major. I have one last online class to finish up with in the next few months. Praise God! I can't wait to be done. I am married to a wonderful man named, Joshua,he and I will be married for two years this June. We have a Great Dane named, Duke, he's my big baby. I know Tori from the recent India trip she went on. My husband and I met her and Mic there in India and found some really great friends. She invited me to join this women4virtue blog, which I am very excited about. I am looking forward to reading this book, as well as sharing and learning from all of you while God molds us into women of virtue. ;)
ReplyDeleteAnd this is my second comment...hehe. My name is Carissa Hieb and I live in Colorado. I went to school with many of the ladies participating in this blog, including Tori. I graduated from UNL with a BS in Interior Design last May and am currently working for MS Interiors in Loveland CO and at NCIS as an insurance agent. I am getting hitched this summer to an amazingly wonderful guy, Brendan. :) For fun I like to hang out with friends in the outdoors. Being back in Colorado has been awesome- whether it's biking, camping, or snowboarding I am so blessed to live in such a wonderful place! I have been feeling very disconnected to any sort of religous life post-college and am looking forward to sharing this experience with all you lovely ladies!
ReplyDeleteI got my book today! Very excited to start reading it! If anyone is still looking for a book, I go mine off ebay for 9.99 + shipping. I also heard amazon may have some good deals.
ReplyDeletei'm Carin Reinsch and i'm a third year med student at loma linda in CA. many people describe the inland empire (which loma linda is a part of) as "the part where the camera would go if california was going to get a colonoscopy." but i digress.
ReplyDeleteat any rate, i mostly stay busy with med school these days and i get some running and reading and movie-watching in when i can. and every so often i make it to the cool california locations, like the beach.
Hi! My name's Trina Cress, and I live in Orlando with my ruggedly handsome husband, Daniel, and my 2 year old daughter Brylee. I spend my days taking care of Brylee and keeping up our home (I love this job!); I also do some part-time work for my brother on his Web site which is tons of fun. We moved to Orlando last summer and are still making a place for ourselves here and trying to establish new friendships... in the meantime, I've been craving being a part of a group like this, so I'm excited to get started!
ReplyDeleteGot my book (or so I am told)a few days ago! I just haven't been home long enough to see it. Hoping to open the package tomorrow and start reading this week! :)
