Question 3

Shelia writes about how she allowed outside influences sway her concept of herself and her own struggles. It seems like as women we do this so often. God seems to have us right where He wants us and then we allow others to sway us off His mark. Instead of having courage we run in fear. Why are we so easily swayed away from God and His plans?

    i think we're easily swayed because God and His plans are scary. it's scary to trust that everything is going to work out when i'm not in control, and he often asks us to do things that are just downright crazy to us. i still don't have a good handle on this...it's something that i think i'll always struggle with.

    I think so too Carrot. We are all in control-freaks in some way I think. We are like little kids who can't sit still to long or we go crazy and try and find another way to figure out our situation.

    You are right Tori. We are like little kids who can't seem to sit still. God is like parents who are trying to get their kids to follow their wisdom. Lol. "It's okay Billy and Sally you've sat long enough you can go play now". I love those words! I can't wait to get them from Him. I just know in my life I have to sit right now, and Lord give me patience to sit longer if I need to.
